Extravagant Balloon Logo
This Extravagant balloon logo was created for a company who sell hot air balloon rides to customers. In this logo I wanted to use bold colours and shapes to promote how fun hot air balloon rides are.
Finished Piece
I believe that my finished logo accurately captures the enjoyment you can have in a hot air balloon. By using bright colours for the fire and the balloon I believe this logo will help to sell these hot air balloon rides to customers.

Golden Eagle- Tilt & Shift Blur
Stage 1
My first step for this piece was to add a horizontal tilt and shift blur onto the image of the eagle. I also resized the fade section on the image so the tips of the birds wings are faded. This makes it look like the Eagle is moving at speed.
Stage 2
The second stage of this piece was to add a vertical tilt and shift blur to the Eagle, I believe the use of the vertical tile and shift blur puts the Eagle within a blurred box as this would make it look like the Eagle is travelling at speed.
Finished Piece
My main inspiration for this piece was how majestic the Eagle looks as it flies through the air, this Eagle is so majestic that it takes all the focus away from the rest of the image. Crucially the use of these two tile and shift blurs really captures the majestic nature of the Golden Eagle within a box, also it manages to blur out the rest of this insignificant image and therefore draw all the attention toward the Eagle.

Usain Bolt- Motion Blur
Stage 1
My first step when creating this motion blur of Usain Bolt crossing the finish line was to add the motion blur onto the original image, this gave the impression that the entire image was moving at speed which is true as it is a still of the 100m final in the 2012 Olympics.

Stage 2
My next step was to add an iris blur to the image, originally I felt that the motion blur didnt add enough emphasis on Usain Bolt because the entire image has been blurred to the same effect and therefore Usain Bolt doesnt stand out as the elite athlete.

The next step I took was to resize the iris blur over Usain Bolt so that the emphasis is put on Bolt specifically as opposed to anybody else in the image.

Finished Piece
My main inspiration when creating this piece (alot like my Leo Messi piece) was the fact that exceptional athletes such as Usain Bolt can stand out even when he is surrounded by some of the worlds top sprinters. I believe the motion blur in this image manages to portray the speed of the event and how incredible these sprinters are because the motion blur makes it seem as if the speed of the athletes cannot be accurately tracked by the human eye. I didnt think the motion blur was enough to add to the image so I felt that I could really add emphasis to a person in this image through the use of an iris blur. I believe the addition of the iris blur adds more speed and emphasis to the great athlete Bolt, crucially the motion blur adds speed to the overall image and the iris blur adds more speed to Usain Bolt as he is wining the race and therefore he is clearly moving faster than the other competitors.
Lionel Messi- Elipse Blur
Stage 1
My first step in creating my Lionel Messi blurred image was to insert the iris blur into the original image

Stage 2
The second step in creating this image was to resize the iris blur on the image so I can fit Messi into the iris and therefore blur all the Real Madrid players in the background.

Stage 3
The third step in creating this image was to resize the iris from an oval shape to a rectangle with rounded edges, I believe that the rectangle could fit all of Lionel Messi inside whilst blurring out the Real Madrid players as opposed to the oval shape.

Stage 4
The fourth stage in creating my blurred image was to resize the midpoints within the rectangle. These midpoints affect the fade within the image and I felt that the image would look better if the vibrant Lionel Messi faded into the blurred out Real Madrid players.

Finished Piece
The main thing that affected my thought process as I was creating this image was how a certain person can stand out in a crowd and I used the idea of football to highlight this idea, because Lionel Messi is a special individual and that is why he stands out against the crowd. During this process I learnt how to use the iris blur tool well because I have used it to highlight the special player Lionel Messi as he showcases his talent by dribbling past the helpless Real Madrid players. This piece is my favourite out of all 3 image blurs because it really appeals to me personally as football inspires me and Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers in the world and therefore he is one of the most inspiring people in the football world.
